I made my first change to the layout and look of my blog. Today I added the Sandbox Theme. From what I hear Sandbox gives WordPress a clean slate. This gives me the power to add CSS to change the look and layout of my blog to whatever I choose.
Is Sandbox a step back?

That may be true, however to do this, Sandbox strips most of WordPress’ formatting. You go from WordPress’ nice, clean default look, to a horrid, cluttered, completely style-less mess.
I have to start adding some css fast!
