It would be best if it wrote last stats to db instead of file. But thinking that the avatar changes by level of stats so may not be possible? Other plugins that use XML files have broken. This is where you add the Nike+ Mini Widget to you blog. Once added you can select it on the right and change it’s settings:

Click Done, and then click Save Settings at the bottom.

If that doesn’t fix it make sure your Nike+ account is set to public or it won’t find your account.
